Activity #3 - Audio Podcast

Unusal Articles
For this activity you will select one article from the Wikipedia List of Unusual Articles and read about a topic and record an audio podcast about the Unusual topic. Don't spend too much time selecting a topic, if you see one that you are interested in select it and get started!

Below is a document that provides some information on how to structure your podcast. Take a moment to read through it before you start writing your script.

How to use Audacity

Mr. Carlisle will show you the basics on how to use the software in class, but if you missed class or want to hear it again you can watch the video below. We will be using the Audacity software for our audio editing needs.

Activity #1 - Recording Audio

Your first task is to record yourself reading the script "The Monster of Lake Taylor". Once that is completed you will import the Audio files into Audacity and start editing. ALL sound effects can be found in the drop box folder for your course found on the home page or in your email.

Activity #2 - News Report

Your second task is to record a radio broad cast. Your radio broadcast should include some relevant news pieces, a song, and an interview. Ensure that you take some time and write a script or guide to keep you on track. After you have recorded your work you will be required to edit it and share in on the onedrive for Radio Broadcast.
